"An Early College School"

As you may be aware, there is ongoing student protest activity on the City College of New York campus. Today, we were alerted by the president of CCNY that they are moving to remote classes out of an abundance of caution, and campus will only be open to essential personnel. Therefore, NYCPS students who participate in dual enrollment with CCNY should refrain from traveling to those campuses and should log on and participate in their course(s) remotely.   Students will also receive communications from CCNY directly about the status of campus closure.

Mission Statement

City College Academy of the Arts (CCAA) is a 6-12 early college school. With the City College of New York and the Early College Initiative, our primary partners, we have designed a learning community that is supportive and safe, as well as rigorous and challenging. CCAA students graduate with as much as two years of college credit. The arts are the conduit through which students develop the skills to become problem-solvers, critical thinkers and analytical learners. CCAA is committed to ensuring that our students succeed not only in college but as valued members of their families and community.
